Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Treatment

Break Free from the Cycle

You Are Not Your Thoughts.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is more than just unwanted thoughts or repeated behaviors—it can feel like your mind is trapped in a loop, filled with doubt, fear, or the sense that something is “just not right.”

I offer specialized, evidence-based treatment for OCD to help you regain control, reduce anxiety, and reclaim your life. Using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), we’ll work together to break the obsessive-compulsive cycle and replace it with greater confidence and calm.

My Approach to OCD Treatment

The gold-standard therapy for OCD is Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), a highly effective form of CBT.

You’ll learn to:

  • Face feared thoughts and situations in a safe, supportive setting

  • Build tolerance to uncertainty and discomfort

  • Reduce compulsive behaviors over time

  • Regain confidence in your ability to make choices without rituals

Treatment is compassionate, personalized, and paced based on your readiness. You’ll never be pushed before you’re equipped with tools to cope.

Understanding OCD

OCD is a mental health condition characterized by:

  • Obsessions: Intrusive, unwanted thoughts, images, or urges that cause distress

  • Compulsions: Repetitive behaviors or mental rituals performed to relieve the anxiety triggered by obsessions

These cycles are often exhausting, time-consuming, and disruptive to daily life—and without treatment, they tend to worsen over time.

OCD Can Look Different for Everyone

I work with clients facing a wide range of OCD themes, including:

  • Contamination fears (germs, illness)

  • Checking (locks, appliances, safety)

  • Intrusive thoughts (violent, sexual, religious, or taboo)

  • Perfectionism or symmetry obsessions

  • Reassurance seeking or mental review loops

  • Hoarding tendencies (when OCD-related)

You don’t have to “look like” you have OCD to be struggling. If your thoughts and rituals are interfering with your peace, we’re here to help.
